As of January 1, 2021, the Arizona Supreme Court permitted "Legal Paraprofessionals" (LPs) to practice law, in a few select areas, without a law degree. Legal Paraprofessionals have met other requirements set by the Arizona Supreme Court.

Family law legal paraprofessionals are authorized services in domestic relations, except that they may not represnet any party in a matter that involves the followign unless the legal paraprofessinal has met additional qualifications as established by teh supreme court. 

(1)  Preparation of Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) and supplemental orders

      dividing retirement assets.

(2)  Division or conveyance of formal business entities or commercial property; or

(3)  An appeal to the court of appeals or supreme court.
